Miniature sculptures and dioramas that encourage creativity, literacy, and imagination

Our Story

My name is Donna and I’m an artist, wife, mother, and friend. Creating beauty and encouraging creativity and wonder in others is a passion of mine.

I discovered miniature crafting in 2015 as a way to cope with chronic illness. In 2020, I began creating an original sculpture series called The Respite Rabbits - an adorable fluffle of bunnies who live, play, and work in Hare Hollow: the 4 × 6 foot miniature world I designed for them using paper, wood, floral remnants, and a variety of repurposed items.

In 2021, I began partnering with local schools and public libraries in Southern Indiana to develop miniature scenes inspired by both fiction and nonfiction books to encourage students to read and engage with new books and stories. This has led to other opportunities and partnerships in my local community to connect with others and champion the arts and literacy.

I’m currently attending graduate school full time in the pursuit of a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and hope to work toward additional certifications and trainings to incorporate creative arts and expression into my therapeutic practice.

Thanks for stopping by, and please reach out if you would like to discuss collaborating on a future project with me!
