Howard Steamboat Museum Christmas Bazaar
An old tradition adds a new twist at the Howard Steamboat Museum. Our traditional open house will share all the Victorian Christmas finery we are known for along with light refreshments. We are adding a brass ensemble to the mix this year along with a visit from Santa Claus for the little ones. We are hosting a Christmas Bazaar in our Carriage House with local artisans providing unique gift opportunities. Respite Rabbits Halloween Party Diorama - On Display at EHBC Trunk or Treat
The new Respite Rabbit Diorama “Inktober Themed Costume Party” will be on display at Eastern Heights Baptist Church’s Trunk or Treat event! Come by and see the little bunnies in person and say hello to the artist. I’ll be the one in the “Seal of Approval” costume.
LTN Con 2022 Exhibit Hall
The Respite Rabbits and I are excited to be participating in the LTN Con 2022 exhibit hall this year! The organizers have generously agreed to letting us bring along Hare Hollow for public display (the huge 4x6 ft homestead diorama with 30 of the Respite Rabbits going about their day).
I will have various items for purchase as well, including 3D printed blanks of some of our most popular rabbit sculptures, stickers, DIY crafting kits, tabletop gaming accessories/terrain, and more! If you plan to attend LTNCon, please find us in the exhibit hall and say hello. :)

Respite Rabbit Village Art Gallery Reception
The Jeffersonville Township Public Library has generously offered to host a reception to celebrate the opening of our art gallery show: “Respite Rabbit Village.” Please join us as we enjoy live music, catered snacks, and a chance to meet the artist!
Donna will have a limited number of rabbit stickers to share with guests who attend - we hope to see you there!
Respite Rabbit Diorama Art Gallery Display
The Respite Rabbits dioramas will be on display in the 2nd Floor Art Gallery at the Jeffersonville Township Public Library in Jeffersonville, Indiana for the months of July and August 2022!
Sunflower Meadow Market - the neighboring village to the Rabbits’ homestead - is already on display at the main entrance. I’m so excited for more people to meet our Respite Rabbits and experience the joy of their magical world.
The Gallery Display will include:
Hare Hollow: The Respite Rabbits’ multi-room manor, made to appear to be built into the remains of a rotting stump
The Rabbits’ extensive vegetable garden and apple orchard
The fishing hole “Papaw’s Pond,” made in memory of my dad
The Respite Rabbit’s school, art studio, and treehouse
A guestbook for visitors to sign - please be sure to leave a note!
Young Artist Collection: the original artwork of several very talented teens from our church, Eastern Heights Baptist Church!
Square Halo Gallery: Inklings Exhibition
MiniMaples Studio’s Narnia-themed book nook titled “Lucy’s Discovery” will be part of an Inklings inspired art gallery exhibit during the Square Halo Book’s 2022 Conference in Lancaster, PA. The gallery exhibit will be on display in January and February 2022 leading up to the conference as well.
