“Alpine Tundra”
Learn about some of our coldest climates - it’s chilly in the tundra, but people and animals have learned to live and thrive there. Read about their stories.
The background of this diorama is an actual photo taken of the alpine tundra at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado! And the elk figurine is a toy found at the gift shop, repainted to look more realistic - the rest of the figurines are original sculptures.
